Ingredients
1 lb (450g) chicken breast, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
2 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 carrot, thinly sliced
2 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish
Directions
- Prep the Chicken & Veggies:
Slice the chicken into thin strips and cut up your veggies. - Cook the Chicken:
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Cook the chicken until golden and cooked through (5–7 min). Remove and set aside. - Stir-Fry the Veggies:
In the same pan, add more oil and toss in the broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers. Cook for 4–5 min until tender but still crisp. - Make the Sauce:
Push the veggies aside and add garlic to the pan. Cook for 30 sec. Pour in soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch slurry (if using) and stir until thickened. - Combine:
Return the chicken to the pan, toss everything in the sauce, and cook for another 2–3 min until well coated and heated through. - Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice or noodles.
